Travel is only a Memory

Retire. Travel. See the world. Covid-19 put a hold on all that. I actually miss traveling. We did drive back to Michigan last September to visit the three children and two grandsons that were in the Houston area at that time. The idea was to go to our grandson Andy's birthday party. We deviated and drove through Texarkana instead, a much more familiar route. On the way back I decided we'd take the route the car plotted for us, through Louisiana and north. Did I mention using highway rest stops instead of gas stations and restaurants? Going to Pearland the state rest stops were clean and well-maintained. Coming
